Plastic Is One Of The Most Disposable Materials In The Modern World. Everyday millions of people drinks water from packed plastic bottles and though it is expected that after consumption of water, bottle should be crushed and dropped in dustbin. But it is not in practise effectively. So instead of telling everyone to do so, a new method to use plastic bottles effectively is innovated. Plastic Bottles Are Increasingly Becoming A Menace To The Environment Due To The Chemicals Used In The Manufacture, Improper Use And Disposal. Waste Plastic Bottles Are Used For Filling Up Landfills Which Polluted To Soil, Choking Water Bodies And Causing Serious Environmental Consequences. On The Other Hand, World
The basic Idea is to take fly-ash and fill it as compact as possible in clean-dry bottle, so that bottle will be able to sustain load effectively. then such bottles should be joined with the help of small reinforcement like 2mm dia iron wires. Then this should be placed in formwork and mortar should be poured.
But following are some advantages of using plastic bottle bricks:
–Low cost, non-brittle
–absorbs abrupt shock loads
–reusable
–less construction material
–easy to build

we can use it to create minor construction like bench, dustbin,road-dividers etc. We can make structures on which not much loads are applied. We can not build a big construction like house (until now) from this method.I’m sure after giving it more thoughts we can find a way to use it in actual construction.
By use of this method , we can solve the problem of plastic bottle as well as fly-ash also it will reduce consumption of soil used to manufacture natural bricks.
The Procedure
1) Two bottles are neck-filled with fly ash and bonded together with wire
2) Then are places in formwork- to create a brick type structure
3) Then filled with mortar and left to dry for 3 days. And then tested roughly and structure was capable to sustain normal load.
