Construction Survey

                The purpose of the construction survey is to re establish points, lines and grades on the ground during construction. It also consists in staking out various details such as culverts and bridges, and in carrying on such other surveying as may be needed for purpose of construction.                  Following are the surveying operation for construction purpose:-
                 * Retracting the center line shown on the plan and referencing certain points on the curves.
                 * Checking bench marks and running center line levels over the retracted line.
                  * Setting slope stakes and grade stakes.
                  * Setting stakes for the complete layout of culverts and bridges.
                  * Setting out curves.
                  * Reporting and making advantageous changes, if any, in line or grade or minor adjustments of the drainage structures.
                    * Progress reports.
                    * Final estimate.
