       The basic unit of length is meter. Other combinations of unit of lengths and areas are given here
Units of Length:-
            10 millimetre     =   1 centimetre
            10 centimetre    =   1 decimetre
            10 decimetre     =   1 metre
            10 metre             =   1 deca metre
            10 DECA metre  =   1 hectometre
     .      10 hectometre.  =   1 kilometre

Units of Area:-
            100 square millimetre.    =  1 square centimetre
            100 square centimetre.   =  1 square decimetre
            100 square decimetre.    =  1square metre
            100 square metre             =  1 are
            100 are                               =   1 hectare
            100 hectare.                      =   1 square kilometer
Units of Volume:-
            1000 cubic millimetre.      =   1 cubic centimetre
